Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop glaou.ch.

The provider is Glaou GmbH, Amthausstrasse 21, 4143 Dornach, Switzerland.

By submitting an order, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions.

Offer and Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a binding offer, but an invitation to order.

A purchase contract is concluded as soon as your order is confirmed or shipped by us.

In justified cases, we reserve the right to refuse orders.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT unless otherwise stated.

Additional shipping costs are shown separately in the order process. The available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

The goods remain the property of Glaou GmbH until full payment has been received.

Shipping and Delivery

Orders are usually processed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Delivery times are non-binding unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delays beyond our control – e.g., due to shipping service providers, holidays, or unforeseen events – cannot be ruled out.

Shipping without tracking: For shipping options without tracking or delivery confirmation, shipping is at the customer's increased risk. In such cases, we cannot assume liability for delays or lack of traceability.

We kindly ask you to report delivery problems or transport damage promptly so that we can find a solution together.

If a shipment is returned to us due to incorrect information or non-collection, the incurred costs may be passed on or deducted from the refund amount.

Cancellation

A cancellation is possible as long as the order has not yet been processed or shipped.

Unfortunately, cancellation is no longer possible after shipping.

Returns and Exchanges

In Switzerland, there is no general legal right of return. Returns are therefore subject to the following conditions.

A return is possible within 30 days of receipt, provided that:

  • the return has been registered with us in advance
  • the product is unopened, unused, and undamaged
  • the original packaging is complete

  • Opened or used products
  • Tested perfumes or body oils
  • Unsealed products
  • Products with damaged or missing original packaging
  • Hygiene and cosmetic products that have already been used

The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer. Refunds will be issued after receipt and inspection of the goods.

Fragrance Samples and Recommendation

If fragrance samples are included, we recommend testing them before opening the original product.

Opening or testing the original product generally excludes a return.

Product Character and Fragrance Perception

Fragrances develop individually and can vary depending on skin type, environment, and personal perception.

Differences in intensity, longevity, or development are normal and do not constitute a defect.

Slight deviations in color or consistency may also occur without affecting the product's quality.

Application and Skin Compatibility

Our products are intended for external use only. Please carefully check the ingredients before use.

For sensitive skin or known incompatibilities, we recommend testing the product on a small skin area first.

Application is at your own risk.

Safety and Use

The products must be used according to their intended application. Please avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or injured skin.

The products are not suitable for consumption and should be kept out of reach of children.

No liability can be assumed for effects caused by improper use or storage.

Warranty

The statutory warranty rights under Swiss law apply. No warranty claim exists in particular for:

  • individual dislike
  • subjective fragrance perception
  • improper use
  • incorrect storage after receipt
  • external influences after delivery

We ask that obvious defects be reported promptly.

Damage after Delivery

After delivery, the customer is responsible for proper storage and handling.

No liability can be assumed for damage occurring after delivery – e.g., due to dropping or improper handling.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence as well as for indirect and consequential damages is excluded. No liability exists for:

  • Damage to textiles or surfaces
  • Reactions in combination with other products
  • Delayed delivery by shipping service providers
  • Technical display deviations in the online shop

Mandatory legal provisions remain reserved.

All product information is for general guidance only.

Our products are cosmetic products and not medical or therapeutic devices.

Final Provisions

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, Dornach, Canton Solothurn, Switzerland.
